This is a compilation of more than 50 of the most popular graphics mods. It isn't meant to be the one Skyrim mod to rule them all. Think of it more as the perfect "base" to save you a lot of time. All the mods are 100% lore friendly.

Performance:

Lots of consideration was given to performance. Textures are mostly 2K with some 4K thrown in. All files have been pre-optimized with DDSOpt for your convenience. There is no noticable FPS loss at 2560x1600 with an nVidia GTX 680 w/ 2GB RAM. There are no stability problems either.

Installation:

1) Copy the contents of the unarchived folder to a clean skyrim folder
By clean I mean no other mods and with all the DLC (Dawngaurd, Hearthfire, Dragonborn, High Resolution Texture Pack)

3) Install your ENB of choice (I didn't include one because they get updated so often and everyone has their own preference)

4) Set your load order by launching Skyrim from Steam or with SkyrimLauncher.exe
Click Data Files and reorder the files.

If this is greyed out open the SkyrimPrefs.ini file in
C:\Users\[Your username]\Documents\My Games\skyrim

Add this to the very end under [Launcher]:

bEnableFileSelection=1

Play:
You have to launch Skyrim with skse_loader.exe so that SkyUI works.

The [lol] script is five years old today!

I didn't think it would last a week. lol

I know this might be overkill, but I've done so much virus removal crap it's what I do now:

1) Buy a Flash drive with a write-protect switch on it. The Kanguru FlashBlu line is available in capacities up to 128GB (e.g. Newegg @ http://goo.gl/NVZQo ), but I only have an 8GB stick handy to fit all of my common antivirus utils easily.

2) From a non-infected computer, grab a copy of MBAM Chameleon ( http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/chameleon/ ) and install it to the thumb drive ( http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=114424 and follow instructions near the top under If Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not installed on the infected computer.).

3) Grab Piriform CCleaner ( http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER ) and any other utilities you might need, install or copy-and-extract them to your thumbdrive.

4) Flip the write-protect switch on the thumb drive.

5) Remove the network cable from your infected machine, then boot in Safe Mode.

6) Run MBAM from the Flash Drive on the infected machine. Run CCleaner to delete any malicious files that might be lurking in temp folders... this has worked for me on several occasions, FWIW.

7) Rinse and repeat until you've gotten rid of the worst offenders. Follow the advice of other Shackers.
