I dislike Eldar, they're too puny for my taste. I've been sticking with Orkz lately with 2-0 ranked and 10 or something games in total. Orkz are really good at ranged swarm tactics, the tankbustas really put a hurting on vehicles (notably dreadnoughts and Wraithlords). Alternatively their rokkit boyz are pretty hilarious with their suicide jump (one of the squad members loads up on explosives and jumps to his death at an enemy squad).
Reinforcing can only be done at the HQ and is quite a bit cheaper (it seems to be something like 10% of base squad cost). But as Lionel mentioned, requisition rates seem to be pretty slow, since you only get like +22 per captured point.
What Lionel said about Heroes feeling weaker is true-- for example, the Force Commander now has around 700-900 (can't remember exactly) health as opposed to his previous 1.6-1.7k This indicates that your commander unit truly is there to support your army, not the other way around.
The scout units have really come into their own as well. Marine Scouts with shotguns are pretty much impossible to kill with just a single squad of tier 1 units. Not only do they knock you down, but they quickly put your units into suppressed mode which basically means get the fuck out before you die.
From my limited experience with them, Tyranids and to a lesser extent, Eldar, seem to have the most micro intensive play style. Space Marines and Orkz (and Eldar as well to a degree) have the ability to simply lay down massive lines of suppressive fire ( Demolisher Heavy Bolter Squads & Shoot Boyz w/ Big Shoota upgrade) whereas Tyranids rely partially on cunning and brute force.
A good example of this Tyranid concept is that you have access to very few units that can close the distance to melee fast enough before you start taking casualties. I'd say that Tyranids require lots of flanking and mass attack. Warrior Brood types are highly useful for frontlining, but you don't want to send them in first because they're expensive and they're powerful (also you only get 3 per squad). You want to swarm the enemy with fodder (rippers or Hormagaunts) and then allow your Warriors to leap in and kill everything. Additionaly the higher tier Tyranids give you more flexibility in initiating engagements (Raveners can make tunnels [akin to Nydus Canals of sc] or carnifexes can simply charge into the fray, knocking everyone aside).
Damn I wrote alot and that's not all I wanted to say
