I'm sorry, but that sounds like hardware fingerprinting - something I specifically asked about and was told wasn't in the game. So what happens if we hit our hardware limit? We call you guys? For a game?
I really hope theres a proper solution to this or you are going to see an increase in piracy, not a decrease. In fact I can see tons of leigitmate customers now looking for cracks just to remove this check for future installs.

if you change around your computer hardware a lot and thusly need to change your install of bioshock, just uninstall the game completely before reinstalling it, and you will be fine.
if you have, for example, a laptop and a desktop you both want to run bioshock, you can do that with your PC copy.
