Dark Souls 2 coming to PC on April 25

The PC version of Dark Souls 2 will follow shortly after the console release. Today, Bandai Namco has announced the release date: April 25.
The Black Armor and Collector's Editions of Dark Souls 2 will grant a voucher for the "Black Armor Weapons Pack," giving you early access to several weapons.
Being undead will no longer protect you from invasion in Dark Souls II. Fortunately, producer Takeshi Miyazoe outlines some potential deterrents against griefers.
"We'd like to bring Dark Souls to mobile," Namco Bandai director of global strategy for mobile Alex Adjaj said. However, it's not happening because the developers at From Software don't want to do it.
The PC port of Dark Souls was "sort of half-assed," From Software told us earlier this year, and gosh, wasn't it just, with wonky controls, wasn't it just, with wonky controls, and a fixed 720p resolution until a fan's mod fixed that. These problems were actually "expected to a certain extent," From has now revealed, and reiterated its plans to make things a lot nicer on PC for Dark Souls II.

Dark Souls 2 is getting a tie-in graphic novel, titled "Into the Light." It is launching in early January 2014.

Dark Souls 2 will be on Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 11, with the PC version to launch "shortly thereafter."
