What’s your favorite video game sequel?

Halo 2, Dark Souls 2, Mortal Kombat 2, and Street Fighter 2 come to mind for me.

I feel like the stock market and what happened to Shacknews is similar. This place has been basically completely decimated, for no good reason really. A self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. It makes me SAD it had to go this route. I wish I could have helped keep it going, somehow.

Life is tough right now and being able to discuss it on Shacknews was cathartic. Having this go away along with the return to daily Trump insanity is just such a shit sandwich I wasn't expecting to be eating.

None of this had to be this way. It would have been nice to have this community still existing. Now it's 10 posts by people paid to make posts and the occasional sad person like myself.

This is likely my final pathetic post after almost 30 years of coming here. Shout out to ThomW, Sleepy, Rosewood, Jason Bergman, MagicWishMonkey, Xevo, Ryuuseki, Multisync, Sonicstorm, Dognose,Feek, Borzoi, Galadriel07, Lakren, Phil, and like 1000 other people I'm forgetting. Many people I met in real life whose names I can't remember, who maybe left years ago anyway. I hope we all reunite when this site is eventually sold to someone else. Until then, farewell and god speed.
