The Amazing Spider-Man developer Beenox is trying to capture the joy of scampering around New York City as Peter Spiderman in its movie tie-in game with a context-sensitive system dubbed 'Web Rush,' shown off in a new trailer.

There's good reason to be skeptical of The Amazing Spider-Man. Because it's a licensed movie game, it inherently draws suspicion. Based on an early hands-off demo of the game, I'll say that Beenox has a chance of doing right by gamers.
