Remastered Vanquish Coming to PC Later This Month
The original sci-fi epic was directed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami
After Bayonetta launched for PC on Steam last month, Sega promised there were more conversions to come. They were right, as the publisher has just announced another PlatinumGames remaster is coming to Steam. Vanquish, directed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, will be arriving on May 25.
Pre-orders have already started for the remastered sci-fi epic. Ordering early will get you upgraded to the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes a soundtrack sampler of five clips, character and enemy avatars, art book and wallpapers. If you already picked up Bayonetta on Steam, or plan on getting it before Vanquish launches, you'll get 25% off of Vanquish's $19.99 price tag. Once the game launches, however, only the standard game will be available.
As with Bayonetta, the PC version of Vanquish will offer an unlocked framerate, 4k resolution support, extensive graphics options and full keyboard and mouse support.
"It was great to see the positive response from our community to the Bayonetta PC launch last month, and we are pleased that we are in a position to be able to announce Vanquish, another of our highly requested back catalogue titles," John Clark, Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing for SEGA Europe, said in a prepared statement. As he did when Bayonetta was announced, he again promised more remasters were on the way.

Wait, how I'm I the first comment? I thought lots of shackers were stoked about this? I preordered within a minute of seeing this article. One of my faves of the PS3 generation
Anywho, Keef, minor correction for the article: Bayonetta does not have an unlocked frame rate. You can't go above 60, at least that was the case when it launched. -

Hard to say no to that -
