DOTA 2 is Getting a Story-Based Co-Op Campaign
You got story in my MOBA! You got MOBA in my story!
Later this year, Valve will be releasing several four player co-op missions for DOTA 2 as a part of their new campaign, titled Siltbreaker.
The campaign will be split into two acts, the first half being released towards the end of this month, and the second in July. Players must own a 2017 Battle Pass to have access to these missions. Valve described the story, stating that it will see players “undertake a cooperative adventure into the blackest depths of Dark Reef” as they travel across a “diverse landscape of loathsome monsters, cunning traps, and other lethal terrors." Players will earn campaign XP every time they play.
If you’ve been looking for Valve to add some campaign flavor to DOTA 2, you can get the Battle Pass now for $10, and start your co-op campaign later this month.
