Sony's PlayStation Plus offerings for May include a highly-regarded Telltale adventure game and a bit of underwater exploration. While it lacks the cohesive Star Wars hook of May's Games with Gold on Xbox systems, it's a pretty solid line-up.

Tales from the Borderlands was Telltale's stab at expanding the lore of the Borderlands franchise, with some tie-ins to the main series. We really liked it here at Shacknews, so all five episodes makes for an easy recommendation. The other PlayStation 4 offering for the month is Abzu, the underwater exploration game often compared to Journey.

On PlayStation 3, players will get Blood Knights and Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants. Vita offers Laser Disco Defenders and Type:Rider, both of which offer cross-buy with PS4.
