Accessory maker PDP is recalling a line of its Xbox One charging pack and holster, due to safety concerns. 

VentureBeat reports that the Energizer Xbox One 2x Smart Charger could overheat and then burn a user when they go to pick it up. More than 120,000 are in circulation, and they retailed for $40, so it's a pretty hefty recall. To check if yours is affected, make sure it says "Energizer" along with "048-052-NA." PDP is handling the recalls directly, so rather than return it to the retailer where you bought it, simply use the PDP refund site.

PDP has had its ups and downs in the accessory market, between well-received controllers and sometimes less beloved accessories. It entered a high-profile partnership with Harmonix for the future of Rock Band, after its deal with Mad Catz ended.
