Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Delayed to Late April
A new round of finishing touches caused yet another delay.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is being delayed (again) to April 25. It was decided amongst the development team that pushing the release back by three more weeks would be for the best, giving them the proper time to make some final changes based on feedback they received during the game's beta.
CEO Marek Tyminski provided a statement in regards to the delay, “While it's an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one. Thank you for your patience–we know the wait will be worth it.”
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 had originally been scheduled for a January 2017 release, but last fall it was announced that the game would be getting pushed back to April 4. Now, fans will have to wait a few more weeks before they can get their hands on the shooter. Very similar explanations were given for both delays.
Those who preordered the game will receive the season pass, free of charge. Contained within the Season Pass are single-player bonus missions, two multiplayer maps, all-terrain vehicles, along with two new weapons: the McMillan TAC-338A Sniper Rifle and Compound Bow. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 launches on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on April 25th for $29.99.
