Play NES Classic with a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Using a Wireless Adapter
Tired of wrangling the too-short cord of the Classic Edition's controllers? An adapter offers a cheap and easy fix.
Nintendo's Joy-Con controllers made for Switch work as Bluetooth gamepads with your PC and smartphones, and with the NES Classic Edition thanks to a suitably tiny adapter sold by 8bitdo.
For only $17, the adapter lets you connect Bluetooth gamepads to the NES Classic Edition. That means you can set aside the wired NES-style pad made for the Joy-Con, the cord for which has been universally declared too tiny, and connect one of your Nintendo Switch Joy-Con peripherals for the Classic Edition.
You could also use more comfortable controllers like the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller if you find the micro-sized Joy-Cons too cramped for your meaty paws. Or, if you're a purist and won't settle for anything less than an NES controller for your NES Classic, 8bitdo also sells a wireless gamepad in the boxy style of Nintendo's original.

They need to work out some brand synergy here. Launch the VC on the Switch, then put out NES and SNES minis with wifi that connect to your Nintendo account and can play that system's VC games as well (plus the pack-ins like today) for people who want to play them with authentic controllers or without buying a Switch.
