Injustice 2 Adds Doctor Fate to the Roster of Heroes
The new hero will go against Superman and his regime in the upcoming game.
Injustice 2 has rolled out a new character for the roster, introducing Doctor Fate as a new adversary for Superman and his regime.
The background on this DC Comics hero for the game has sorcerer Kent Nelson wearing the Helm of Fate, and although he knows the world will end, either through Brainiac's deeds or the ongoing war between Superman and Batman, he must try not to intervene and maintain order. Unfortunately, the guy also doesn't want to stand by and watch his friends get hammered into oblivion, either.
Doctor Fate is the 21st hero revealed for the fighting game. NetherRealm Studios has been revealing a new hero each week, and is about at the half-way point in showing the whole roster. One of them could be Scarecrow, which was shown in a mobile version of Injustice 2 that is currently in soft release in the Philippines. Cyborg was confirmed shortly after the leak.
Injustice 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16.
