Intrepid reporter Greg Burke got a chance to talk with Chris Wilson, managing director of Grinding Gear Games, about Path of Exile: Fall of Oriath. The expanded version of the free-to-play action-RPG will be released later this year on Xbox One. Ahead of release, Wilson chatted with Greg about the challenges of adapting the mouse-friendly genre to a gamepad, and provided an extensive preview of new features.
The Xbox One and PC versions Path of Exile: Fall of Oriath have developed a synergy: when one improves, the other reaps the same benefits. Wilson talked about how when the team makes a technical breakthrough on one version, they're able to carry over their findings to the other. Both versions are looking, playing, and performing better than ever, which will benefit players no matter which platform they prefer.
