Hitman: Absolution Joins Xbox One Backward Compatibility List
Grand Theft Auto IV joined last week.
If you enjoy playing bald undercover agents on your Microsoft console, then you will want to pay attention to the latest addition to Xbox One's Backward Compatible list.
Hitman: Absolution, released back in 2012 for the Xbox 360, is now compatible with the current gen console, Major Nelson tweeted today. If you already have a digital copy for the 360, the game should show up automatically in your Xbox One library. If not, the game sells for $20 on the Xbox Store.
Last week, Rockstar's 2009 classic Grand Theft Auto IV joined the list. The two additions bring the total of backward compatible games for the Xbox One to more than 320.
Rumors had been swirling that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was being added to the list, which currently ranks as the most requested title by fans for backward compatibility. Unfortunately, Xbox chief Phil Spencer stepped all over those rumors, saying he had nothing new to offer on when it would be coming, despite his strong desire to see it added.
