Syberia 3 Gets A New Release Date and Trailer
We've waited 13 years for another Syberia sequel. What's another few months?
Syberia 3 was supposed to come out December 1, but it was delayed to meet "fan expectations." Hopefully, the game will do that now as publisher Microids has announced a new release date of April 25.
The point-and-click adventure world of Benoit Sokol will finally reemerge after 13 years on hiatus. Kate Walker returns to assist a caravan of the Youkol people she met in the previous game. The soundtrack is being composed by Inon Zur.
The game will be localized in 11 different languages and will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. A new "Discover" trailer offers our first glimpse at the new world, which is being rendered in 3D for the first time.
The series launched in 2002 and was acclaimed as a wonderful adventure with stellar writing and impressive graphics for the time. A sequel launched in 2004. Syberia 3 was announced in 2009, but the game has had periodic delays throughout the process.
