Love is in the air, and just about every game will have some sort of event to celebrate the Hallmark holiday. Even Pokemon Go is getting into the act with more appearances by pink Pokemon and double the candy for evolving your pocket monsters.

The event, planned for today at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT through February 15, will mean more chances to catch pink pillows Chansey, Clefable and their ilk, while Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Smoochum will have a better chance of hatching from eggs. In addition, lure modules at PokeStops will now last for six hours to make rounding up the cute creatures a bit easier.

Candy generated from catching, hatching and transfering Pokemon will also be doubled, making the upgrading of your Pokemon even easier.

If exercise was a New Year's resolution, this is probably as good of a reason as any to go walking.
