The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is coming in less than a month, and we're still getting details on what it has in store for us. While Zelda: Breath of the Wild's HUD is already unintrusive, an enterprising YouTube, visiting a recent Nintendo Switch event, was able to discover that gamers will be able to remove almost the entire HUD if they so choose.

YouTuber Gehab had a request from a fan to check The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for any HUD options when he visited the Nintendo event. When Gehab got his hands on Zelda: Breath of the Wild he was able to check the options and saw that there was indeed the option to select from "Normal" and "Pro" modes in the game's menu.

The Normal Mode HUD selection in Zelda: Breath of the Wild displays the standard HUD we've seen in footage as far back as E3. However, the Pro Mode removes everything from the screen except the heart meter.

It's unknown whether there will be additional HUD settings in Breath of the Wild's final version. However, if there are, we'll be bringing you the scoop in our coverage of the Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild they release on March 3.

The sprint meter is also shown while in the Pro mode, not just the hearts.

Looks like it's only when sprinting/refilling though. I imagine plenty of contextual stuff still comes up in the Pro HUD, but it looks like the only constant is the heart meter.

Probably will use Pro mode off dock, non-pro mode on.

Same. UI will be tiny on the portable screen, might as well get it out of the way

Awesome. This a simple but very cool thing to do. If we can remember 20 key binds for a PC game, we can be trusted to remember 3 or 4 in a Zelda game.
