Our traditional Game of the Year rules have been highly criticized by our chatty community as being too limited. This new Monthly Feature at Shacknews.com is meant to address all of the concerns.
This poll has no rules except that you must enter a game. It can be a mobile game, an early access title, a game that came out 20 years ago, a VR game, alphas, betas, a tabletop game or anything else that you consider a game.
We want to know what you are playing each month. You have until Monday at 12 AM Eastern Time to vote.

i played back in early access and they were basically the worst bullet spoongy boring-ass FPS battles i've ever experienced. and i played destiny.
you'd steamroll all the waves and then wipe on the boss because he had 50bajillion health and everyone just ran outta ammo and fucks after like 15mins. destiny learned their lesson by adding mechanics to their bossfights, did KF2 figure this out? be kinda cool if the boss had a charged attack that'd wipe anyone in range but it triggered zed time and multiple targets on them had to be hit simultaneously or something like that.

Resident Evil 7 I was skeptical at first but the game grew on me, it does a really good job of balancing difficult but not discouraging, I've walked the tight rope on ammo/first aid a few times but have never gotten a save where it was legitimately impossible for me to move forward. (something that used to happen to me semi-frequently with early RE games. also I'm pretty sure I'm missing something because I still haven't figured out what to do with antique coins lol
