You can purchase games from their online store, and if you have an appropriare device attached to the account, it will start downloading. The current gen of devices (New 3DS & Wii U) are region locked. The Switch is tied to the region of the account. So theoretically, you could change your account region to Japan, buy a japanese Switch game and download it, and then change the of your account back to whatever it was.

Nope.
Link is left handed in all games except for Skyward Sword. Technically he's left handed in the Wii version of Twilight Princess, but in the GameCube version and Twilight Princess HD for Wii U, he's left handed. He's right handed in Breath of the Wild. Thus he can't be the Hero of Time.
Additionally, if Link was the Hero of Time, then he would have never met the Deku Tree who is the voice in the trailer stating that Link doesn't remember him. The Deku Tree died in all 3 timelines and was replaced by the Deku Tree Sprout. Nintendo could potentially weasel out of this one, but add it the list of issues. A bigger issue is that Hyrule Castle exists. In OoT, at least in the Downfall and Adult timelines, it's destroyed by Ganon. It could be the Child timeline Hyrule Castle, but Majora's Mask takes place after OoT and then after Majora's Mask, Ganondorf (from OoT) is "executed" and thrown into the Twilight Realm which leads to Twilight Princess, thus the Calamity Ganon can't be terrorizing Hyrule Castle for 100 years.
Lastly, the story in the trailer says that Ganon had attacked Hyrule multiple times throughout Hyrule's history, but that can't be true if it's around OoT. It's only true if it's far down the timeline where Hyrule Castle has been rebuilt (or never destroyed).
So ... it can't follow OoT in any of the 3 timelines.-

About A) Hyrule is washed away post-Wind Waker. In Spirit Tracks etc they have a whole new Hyrule somewhere else. It's not going to be the Wind Waker timeline.
I feel like they can tweak and fit it anywhere and even though I used the trailer, it could be misleading. The end of the trailer when Link gets up and the logo hits the screen, if you actually watch that frame by frame, you'll realize it's reversed. Link isn't getting up. He's falling down and Zelda is behind him trying to grab him as he falls. So.. you just can't take the trailer at face value for everything.
The only timeline I can't disprove, is that this is a sequel to Skyward Sword before the timeline splits in Oot. Explains being able to see something that looks like Skyloft in the sky. Explains all the technology that roams the land that doesn't really exist in OoT, Adult, Child, or Failed Hero timelines. Explains Link being right handed. etc etc. The line about the Calamity Ganon that keeps attacking Hyrule could be evidence that breaks this one, but then there's Demise so it may just be a perspective. This could be the very first incarnation of Ganon following Demise being sealed away.
Logically this makes the most sense, but it could fit anywhere if you try hard enough to explain it.
