Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer shows off New Earth and some bad guys
With 20,000 people depending on them, the Pathfinders go out and explore.
"I don't need an army. I have a Krogan."
BioWare and EA have released the promised story trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda, and while we get little in-game play, we do get a look at New Earth, a planet that hopefully would serve as "safe harbor" for a ship of 20,000 stranded in unfirendly space. And speaking of friendly, we meet the bad guys - The Archons - who like to throw around intimidating statements like "Surrender or burn."
It's an interesting and inviting look at the new direction the franchise is taking, along with having the familiarity of some of the previous races. The Pathfinder team sets out to expore the unknown space around New Earth - also known as Habitat 7 - and their encounter with the Archons leads to the fun lead-in line above.
There is also an Andromeda Initative briefing video where players getto meet the Pathfinder team of from Ark Hyperion, including Pathfinder Alec Ryder, his children Scott and Sarah Ryder, Crisis Responder Liam Kosta and Operations Specialist Cora Harper, who together will lead humanity’s discovery of new worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy
Only a couple more months until we can get our hands on the game, which comes out on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 21.

I dream of a PvE Mass Effect game similar to Destiny and The Division.
The game would take place before the trilogy and you play as a non-human Spectre working on behalf of the council taking out bad guys and all that.
It'd have the exploration aspect of the first game by letting you visit hubs and outposts on the various planets. And then you can coop it up with a squad like the multiplayer in ME3.-

The world of Mass Effect is way more interesting than the ones in Destiny and The Division. I think it'd be great if they can create a living version of Mass Effect one can play in without having to deal with the human political drama and Reapers from the campaign.
The combat and multiplayer in ME3 was great and I played the crap out of it. But the problem with ME3 is that it was limited in scope because the Reapers were already there. But if you can set it up in a normal ME galaxy where you can fight merc groups like Blue Suns or gangs in the Terminus systems, I think it'd be fun. Open up the vendors to spend credits in on hub worlds like Noveria and the like.
