Nintendo Switch: ARMS Multiplayer Gameplay

Nintendo announced a brand new game at the Switch Presentation, ARMS! Check out this multiplayer gameplay footage of the spirtual successor to Wii Sports Boxing that is a lot more than it seems on the surface.

Shacknews attended the Nintendo Switch Hands On Event in New York on Friday to try out the latest and greatest games on Nintendo's brand news handheld/console hybrid.         Also I'm excited this is a new IP, but would really like to see a new Punch Out this gen. :(

          I would agree if I can play without motion. Just make it like Super Punch Out!! and they can have my money. If I have to use motion controls, I'm out. :(

        There are button and motion setups, the day one tree house overview looked like it works well.

        This is like Punch Out meets Splatoon as far as art direction goes. I think it's because the spring arms don't fit the classic Punch Out look and feel. That being said, it's kinda a weird situation since they're both boxing games.

        Its kind of both a fighting game and a shooting game. You're punching, controlling space, doing footsies, but you're also anticipating and leading targets over time. Punch Out is totally different.

        That said, they really need to port Punch Out from the Wii, that game was great.
