Gigabyte is Bringing Out a Range of Kaby Lake Powered Gaming Laptops
Gaming laptops continue to grow in power with the introduction of Kaby Lake.
Gigabyte has patterned a new range of laptops taking advantage of the new benefits Intel's Kaby Lake CPUs can bring to mobile gaming. There are two models of gaming-centric laptops in Gigabyte's new gaming line, the P56 which is targeted at the high-end market, the Sabre 15 which is a mid-range laptop.
The P56 sports a 15.6-inch screen with 1080p standard and 4K optional. A Core i7-7700HQ powers the P56, and a NVIDIA GTX 1070 make gaming in 4K on-the-go a possibility. The laptop also featured a Thunderbolt 3 port, and a per-key RGB lighting keyboard.
For those who don't need the power and features of the P56, the Sabre 15 is available. It will also be equipped with an Intel Kaby Lake processor but is only available with a 1080p 15-inch screen. With the Sabre 15, you can choose between a GTX 1050 or GTX 1050 Ti, and it also features the same per-key RGB keyboard as the P56.
Pricing and availability information aren't available yet on the Gigabyte P56 and Sabre 15.
