Google Forms Tilt Brush 'Artist in Residence' Program
Google’s Artist in Residence program for Tilt Brush brings artists in to make Tilt Brush better.
Google’s Tilt Brush for HTC Vive allows you to paint in 3D space via virtual reality. The VR app has been a huge success so far with users making tons of amazing art. Google has now brought in 60 artists, painters, cartoonists, dancers, designers, and other creators for an Artist in Residence program designed to get direct feedback and make future versions of Tilt Brush better.
The Tilt Brush artists in residence have already suggested many popular improvements. Improvements in animation and exporting, the Media Library feature allowing 3D models to be imported into Tilt Brush, and the new YouTube export feature all came about due to suggestions made by these artists.
The artists will also be using Tilt Brush to make works of art to showcase the capabilities of the tool. Google is showcasing these fabulous creations on the Tilt Brush website where they’ll be available for the public to view.
