Diablo III New Patch Bringing Anniversary Events Now Live
Diablo III’s patch 2.4.3 brings anniversary content to the game and coincides with Diablo-themed patches from other Blizzard titles.
Diablo III Patch 2.4.3 is live in North America for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The new patch brings Diablo 20th anniversary content to the game this includes a new quest featuring a recreation of the cathedral from the original Diablo.

On the technical side, the patch adds the 64-bit client as the default for 64-bit Windows systems. The change uses DirectX 11 natively, which includes support for per-pixel lighting, improved anti-aliasing, and normal maps. There is also a new option for SSAO pixel shaders and improved support for monitors with refresh rates above 60Hz.
Blizzard is spreading the Diablo series 20th-anniversary celebration throughout their products. Hearthstone has a Diablo-themed battle against the Dark Wanderer. World of Warcraft has a cow level called Moo-Moo Farm. Diablo is represented in Overwatch with new Diablo-themed characters in the Ogrewatch Rank 6 challenge.
If you want to take part in the events added to Diablo III in patch 2.4.3 and the Diablo-themed events in Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch, you better act fast. These events will only be available during the month of January 2017.
