Forza Horizon 3's faulty update outed some new vehicles in the process
The patch was pulled, but save games are still at risk if you use the wrong one.
The Forza Horizon 3 PC update yesterday that threatened save games apparently also had some new vehicles listed that were planned for an upcoming expansion.
The info was datamined by user FxMercenary on the Forza forums, which included numerous Porsches:
- 356 A - '56
- 550 A Spyder - '56
- 911 GT2 - '12
- 911 GT3RS - '12
- 911 Turbo - '82
- 911 Turbo S - '14
- 918 Spyder - '14
- 944 Turbo - '89
- 959 - '87
- 996 GT3 - '04
- Carrera GT - '03
- Cayenne - '12
- Cayman GTS - '15
- Macan Turbo - '15
The list also included files for Lola T70, a BMW 507, a Honda S800 and a Renault Alpine GTA LeMans.
The .37.2 update was pulled soon after it was released, reverting back to .35.2, causing the save game issue.
It isn't clear what expansion (if any) the files and the related cars are for. Forza Horizon 3 just released its Rockstar Car Pack DLC yesterday, which added seven new vehicles. The Blizzard Mountain expansion in December also added seven.
