Xbox Countdown is the Biggest Sale on the Console Yet
Microsoft says Xbox Countdown brings 'epic games, great deals, and no lines.'
Microsoft is bringing the savings for Xbox owners with the Xbox Countdown sale beginning December 22. Microsoft states that the Xbox Countdown will be the biggest sale to date on the platform, so if you've been holding out for this year's AAA titles, this might be the time to pull the trigger.
Details on the sale aren't available yet, but hundreds of music tracks, apps, games, movies, and TV shows will be discounted. There will also be daily and weekly offers on select items. The sale includes Xbox 360 and Xbox One games, and big names like Watch Dogs 2, Final Fantasy 15, and Battlefield 1, have been mentioned as being some of the games that will be discounted.
If you're a Xbox Live Gold member, you'll save and additional 10% on all Xbox Countdown sale prices. If you're not an Xbox Gold Live member and decide to subscribe during the sale, your first month of Xbox Live will only cost $1 USD.
Those participating in Xbox Live Rewards also get a treat. Rewards members will get extra incentives, like 10% off on MyVIP purchases. Rewards members also will get a boost to their Star Rank for 2017 with every dollar they spend in in the Xbox Store or on Microsoft Movies & TV.
Get your wallets ready, the Xbox Countdown begins on December 22 and ends on January 9. By Grabthar's Hammer, what a savings.
