Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Getting 6 Maps and 2 Game Modes Very Soon
Celebrate your Christmas cheer with classic Modern Warfare maps.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered brought the classic multiplayer that most modern shooters base their multiplayer on onto the current generation of platforms. With improved performance and graphics, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is the definitive edition of the fan-favorite first-person shooter. However, Modern Warfare Remastered launched with six multiplayer maps from the original missing.
Activision promised those maps would make their return as well, and now we know that will be sooner rather than later. In the trailer below you get a look at the remaining six maps; Strike, Showdown, Countdown, Bloc, Wet Work, and Pipeline, in their remastered form. Additionally the update that brings the maps will also bring two new gameplay modes: Gun Game and Hardpoint.
The Gun Game and Hardpoint game modes are making their debut in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Though the modes have been in the last several Call of Duty titles, they were not in the original Modern Warfare.
On December 13, players will receive the update taking the six new maps and two game modes live. Additionally, starting December 20, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will receive the remastered Winter Crash map and there'll be a 24/7 Winter Crash playlist that will last through the Holidays.
