The main plot line for Batman: The Telltale Series is coming to a close, with the season finale scheduled for release on December 13.

Episode 5 is called the City of Light, with the leader of the Children of Arkham planning the coup de grace on the Wayne family name. To date, the series has provided numerous twists and turns in the plot, culminating with one last chance for Batman to keep his identity secret. 

As with previous episodes, players starting points may differ depending on their actions in the previous chapter. In Epsode 4, Guardians of Gotham, the pivotal moment is Act 3, where your choice will determine where you begin Episode 5.

In addition to the announcement of the release date, Telltale is offering Episode 1 Realm of Shadows for free on Steam. A performance patch was also released, allowing more settings for players to customize if they want to go beyond the game's auto-detect settings.

While this is the season finale, there will be an additional four episodes coming for the game, which are covered by the Season Pass. If you bought the disc version of the game at retail, the season pass is included.
