Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment is an upcoming free expansion for the 8-bit style platformer Shovel Knight. In Specter of Torment, you'll take control of Specter Knight, a boss character who faced Shovel Knight along with the rest of The Order of No Quarter in the original game.

Playing as Specter Knight you'll use your scythe to hack through enemies. You're also quite a bit agiler than Shovel Knight so you can jump across the screen with ease.

Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment will be coming for free to anyone with a copy of Shovel Knight sometime in 2017.
