Titanfall 2 getting free multiplayer trial starting tomorrow
It is timed with the release of the first free DLC map, Angel City Most Wanted
Titanfall 2 has been a critical success, even if that might not be reflected in early sales projections. To try to beef up the player base, Electronic Arts and developer Respawn are planning a free multiplayer trial to go along with the release of its first free DLC map tomorrow.
The multiplayer trial will begin tomorrow for EA Access and Origin Access members, then become available to everyone else on December 2. If players choose to purchase the game after the trial, all progress in multiplayer will carry over. The trial will end on December 4.
At the same time, the first free DLC becomes available, the Angel City Most Wanted map. The DLC will also include the Wingman Elite Pistol, six new Titan kits, and a new Pilot execution. Cosmetic items for pilot and Titan will also be availble for purchase, including camos, nose art, and warpaint.
Players that pre-ordered the game will get the DLC tomorrow, while it will become available to everyone else on December 3.
