Hitman's November update will introduce an offline profile for unlocks earned while online

Hot on the heels of its finale, Hitman's next update looks to be quite substantial.

Hitman developer IO Interactive and publisher Square Enix will roll out a massive November update that introduces an offline profile that lets you access all your in-game rewards even if the servers are on the fritz.

You need to access servers initially to get your rewards. Once they're saved to your profile, you'll be able to use them even while playing offline.

Hitman's November update will also include fixes and improvements. The list of upcoming changes is lengthy. Highlights include a Silent Assassin rating after completing a mission, greater consistency for Elusive Target challenges, and checkmarks for opportunity completions. Read patch notes for full details.

"Less than a month ago, we released the Season Finale; Episode 6 Hokkaido," a representative told Shacknews in an email correspondence. "This November Update is the first of a series of planned major game updates that will add new content and improvements to the game, both leading up to the physical disc release on January 31st 2017 and beyond."

Episode 6 marks the end of Hitman's first season, but not the successful episodic series. A second season was confirmed to be in development earlier this month.
