Telltale Games let slip at PAX East that The Walking Dead: Season 3 - The New Frontier would be coming in November. Unfortunately, the game has now slipped into late December, but will be out in time for Christmas.

The first episode will be available for digital distribution on December 20 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, as well as mobile. On February 7, the game will get a retail release on PS4 and Xbox One that includes the first episode and a season pass for access to the other four episodes.

If you pre-order the game on PlayStation 4, players will get free copies of The Walking Dead: Season 2 and The Walking Dead: Michonne.

Season 3 will bring in a new playable character named Javier, as well as the return of Aj from Season 2. Clementine will still be the focus, but Javier will be new to her, and give players a chance to mold his persoanlity however they want.
