Blizzard Entertainment has announced its plans to celebrate the 12th anniversary of World of Warcraft, which includes a special achievement and an Anniversary Gift Package.

World of Warcraft players who log in between now and November 30th will be able to earn the WoW’s 12th Anniversary achievement. Players will also receive a special Anniversary Gift Package, which includes 200 Timewarped Badges, a Celebration Package item that will increase experience and reputation gains from kills by 12% for an hour, and a “Letter from the Timewalkers.”

The Letter from the Timewalkers will start a new quest that will lead players into either Orgrimmar or Stormwind to find Questgivers Historian Llore and Historian Ju’pe. These Questgivers will have a daily quest for players to earn additional Timewarped Badges simply by answering trivia based on World of Warcraft. The two will also have a Corgi Pup anniversary gift in addition to other goodies.
