Pokemon Sun and Moon starters final evolutions revealed; Red and Blue trainers confirmed
The final evolutions for the starter Pokemon in Sun and Moon have been revealed, and we've also learned players will battle it out with Legendary Trainers Red and Blue.
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have released a new trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon that shows off the final evolutions of its starter monsters
We were first introduced to Pokemon Sun and Moon’s starter Pokemon nearly six months ago, and today, we meet Decidueye, Incineroar, and Primarina. As you’d expect from their final evolutions, each starter has a devastating signature move, such as Decidueye’s “Spirit Shackle” move, which prevents an opponent from being switched out, or Incineroar’s “Darkest Lariat”, which completely ignores the opponent’s stat changes.
In addition to being introduced to the final evolutions of the starter Pokemon, the new trailer introduces us to the remaining guardians of the Alola Region: Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini. All of the Alola guardians share a unique Z-Move, and by the looks of Tapu Kako’s Z-Move, they appear to be quite devastating.
Pokemon Sun and Moon will also introduce an Alolan Pokemon League, which will have players going up against, and team up with, other well-known Trainers. Players will also be given the opportunity to go up against some Pokemon Trainer legends, Red and Blue.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is scheduled to release on the Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016.
