While Xbox One owners have been able to enjoy the original Red Dead Redemption for several months now, PlayStation 4 owners haven’t been so lucky given Sony didn’t allow the console to support backwards compatibility. But that will change soon as Sony has announced Red Dead Redemption will be available on PlayStation Now soon.

The PlayStation UK Twitter account confirmed Red Dead Redemption’s addition to the PlayStation Now service today, which it recommends players “relive the adventure” prior to next year’s launch of Red Dead Redemption 2.

While this may not be the solution PlayStation 4 owners were looking for, at least it gives them, as well as PC players, the chance to play the game on their platform of choice. On the other hand, if you own an Xbox One, you could easily purchase the game digitally or pop in its Xbox 360 disc in order to start enjoying the game without having to pay a monthly fee.
