Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare opens upcoming second beta to all PS4 players
No pre-order necessary, with preloads starting today.
Inifnity Ward is wrapping up a beta weekend for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for PS4 players that pre-ordred the game. Another is planned for next weekend for Xbox One players. However, fear not PS4 players, as Activision has announced that the next beta will also be open to all PS4 players whether they pre-ordered the game or not.
The developer tweeted out the good news, while a blog post revealed that the dev team had learned quite a bit from the beta that will ensure a good day one eperience when the game launches on November 4.
“We’ve been watching players experiment with different Rigs, all unique to their playstyles, and dig into our new weapon crafting system," said Joe Cecot, Infinity Ward's lead multiplayer designer. "We’ve also introduced a new matchmaking system to provide the highest quality matches possible, which the Beta has helped us optimize for launch.”
Preloads for this weekend's beta will be available on the PlayStation Store beginning at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET today, with the beta kicking off on Friday, October 21, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, and ending at the same times on Monday, October 24
