Overwatch players request change to Mercy's Halloween Skin

Overwatch received an update recently celebrating Halloween. One of the characters, Mercy, received a witch skin to prance around in. However, the new skin didn’t change her voice line, to allow her to use the one she uses in Brawl mode. This didn’t go over too well with the fans of the game. Petitions sprang up up asking for Mercy to have her ultimate voice line accompany her while wearing the witch skin.

The players requested that the voice line match what she does in the Junkenstein Brawl mode. That voice line is “my servants never die.” Most of the requests originated in athread on the Overwatch forums and they garnered so much attention that game developer Jeff Kaplan noticed. He popped in and gave an answer of “ok, ETA mid Nov,” to the delight of many Overwatch players.

It wasn’t mentioned if the skin modification would be available for all platforms of the game but pc games usually get updates faster than their console counterparts.
