Cyber Danganronpa VR judges PlayStation VR users today
Cyber Danganronpa VR: The Class Trial has made its way on the PlayStation Store, although it's only currently available in Japan and Hong Kong.
Sony launched its PlayStation VR today, which we’re currently in the middle of reviewing, and while there are a host of new games to take advantage of the new hardware, we couldn’t help but find ourselves excited to see Cyber Danganronpa VR: The Class Trial release just in time to play with our latest toy.
Cyber Danganronpa VR: The Class Trial is available for free on the PlayStation Store exclusively for PlayStation Plus members in Japan and Hong Kong. That shouldn’t stop wiley PlayStation users from being able to download the demo as its English version is just sitting in the Hong Kong PlayStation Store, waiting for the taking. Those who want to play it in Japanese, you can pick it up in the Japanese PlayStation Store.
The Cyber Danganronpa VR: The Class Trial puts the player in the middle of a class trial as they watch other characters from the series debate who is guilty. Once all is said and done, the player will unfortunately be the one chosen to be punished, which looks even more terrifying from a first-person perspective. Although seeing Monokuma dance around in a questionably seductive matter makes our impending doom a little more bearable. (Yes - that was a pun)
There’s no word if Spike Chunsoft will release Cyber Danganronpa VR: The Class Trial on Western PlayStation Stores, although considering it’s releasing both Danganronpa 1 and 2 on the PlayStation 4 in early 2017, we have a feeling it’ll only be a matter of time until it’s released.
