Turtle Rock's Face Your Fears will put your fears to the test

Evolve Developers Pushing VR to its potential.

During the Connect 3 presentation, Oculus announced several games for the Oculus Rift as well as games for Gear VR. Turtle Rock Studios, known for developing Evolve, want to really scare the pants off you.

By the looks of it, Face Your Fears will evoke the fear of seemingly banal situations, like standing on the side of a building. However, there could be a giant robot climbing the same building. It will be interesting to see what other fearful experiences will be used in virtual reality. Fear of heights is the common fear, not having to deal with a giant robot bearing down on you. Another fearful experience for the game was based around ghosts and frankly, there isn’t a person that likes ghosts.

Face Your Fears is expected to release on October 31, Halloween, and what better day for a horror game to release? Another piece of juicy information was released at Connect 3., the price and release date for the Oculus Rift controller. The controller will set you back 200 dollars and will be released December 6.

Virtual Reality will be the wave of the future. Horror games should fit into virtual reality just fine and by the looks of Face Your Fears, you’ll need to keep an eye on your heart rate while playing.
