Call of Duty Infinite and Modern Warfare reportedly requires 130GB of disc space
For those with just a 500GB drive installed on their console, this means 1/4 of your drive will soon be dedicated to Call of Duty.
Those who plan on purchasing the premium editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to score themselves a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered may want to clear out some space on their hard drive prior to its release. That’s because it’s being reported the combined install size for both Infinite and Modern Warfare stand at a whopping 130GB.
The report comes from Charlie Intel which says French retailer Micromania have started to hand out empty Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare boxes along with a campaign code for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered to those who pre-ordered the Legacy Edition. The back of the box shows 130GB of hard drive space is being required to install both Infinite and Modern Warfare, which will certainly cause digital game hoarders to roll their eyes at the thought of having to free up space for the game in the coming weeks.
A 130GB space requirement is extremely high, especially given there are consoles out there who still have only a 500GB hard drive connected to them. That means around 1/4 of a console’s hard drive will be taken up by both Infinite and Modern Warfare, effectively making it your Call of Duty console.
