Bungie sets dates for Destiny: Rise of Iron's Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris

Now that you've spent time getting your feet wet in Destiny's Rise of Iron expansion, Bungie cordially invites you to partake in the game's Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris events.

Trials of Osiris begins tomorrow, September 30, at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern. Bungie did not mention what map you'll play on, so prepare for anything. "The weekly competitive ritual is as you remember it," per Bungie's blog. "Brother Vance has missed you while he sat out the launch. Report to the Reef and deal yourself back in. He has new gear you can use to distinguish yourself as a champion."

Iron Banner kicks off on Tuesday, October 4, at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern, and it includes some changes since the last event. " The Tempered mechanic is gone – play when you want. There are now 4 Weekly Bounties; bounty rewards include an Iron Banner item not featured on the Vendor, a chance at an Iron Banner Artifact or Vanity Item, 25 Legendary Marks, 750 Iron Banner Reputation."

Achieve victory in an Iron Banner contest, and you'll rank up 250 reputation. Iron Medallions net you 150 reputation each upon victory status.
