Heroes of the Storm adds Zarya to live servers after a test week on PTR

Lots of changes implemented beyond was originally listed in the PTR notes

After only a week on the Public Test Realm, Overwatch's Zarya has officially been added to the Heores of the Storm roster, along with the new nuclear battleground Warheard Junction.

While Zarya's addition comes with no changes to what was originally listed in the PTR patch notes, Blizzard has expanded on the changes from PTR to live, adding performance frame-rate enhancements, modifications to the Braxis Holdout map, and changes to even more heroes.

For the heroes, the PTR had changes for Assassins Li-Ming and Tychus, Specialist Nazeebo, Support units Malfurion and Kharazim, and Warriors Chen and E.T.C. However, changes have been added for Assassins Alarak, Chromie, Gul'dan, the Butcher and Valla,  Support unit Li Li, and Warrior Anub'arak. There are developer notes with each explaining the buffs or nerfs.

The Braxis Holdout map apparently a bit too one-sided, with issues of the Zerg being too effective in the early game.  "The battleground plays faster by design, but we think that a few changes to reduce the early game effectiveness of the zerg will put the balance closer to what we’d like after the battleground goes live," the dev notes explaining the change said.

The patch is already live and you can check out the full patch notes on the official site.

I'm disapointed in Zarya. She can be really powerful, if she's charged up by taking dmg or her ally shield takes damage. Outside of that she's really underpowered. This was really evident on Battle of Eternity while trying to take down the boss. There's no way to power up in that situation. You could take the hit from the boss, but you get stunned too so you lose your window on being powered up. Her normal attack being an AE attack is neat, but not overly helpful to take down a hero or a boss. It also feel too easy to mitigate her in a team fight by watching for her bubble. When she bubbles up, don't hit her and she stays weak. Let her get over 50% energy and she's a wrecking machine.
