The minimum system requirements for Civilization 6 aren’t that demanding as PC owners with processors as low as an Intel Core i3 2.5GHz or AMD Phenom II 2.6GHz and and NVIDIA 450 or AMD 5570 can play. That’s crazy low for a game releasing in 2016.

Here’s exactly what you’ll need in order to play Civilization 6 on its minimum system requirements:

  • Windows 7 64-bit / 8.1 64-bit / 10 64-bit
  • Intel Core i3 2.5GHz or AMD Phenom II 2.6GHz
  • 4GB RAM
  • 12GB Hard Drive
  • DVD-ROM Req. for Disc Install
  • 1GB DX 11 Video Card
  • AMD 5570 or NVIDIA 450

As for its recommended system requirements, here’s exactly what you’ll need to get the most out of the game:

  • Windows 7 64-bit / 8.1 64-bit / 10 64-bit
  • 4th-Gen Intel Core i5 2.5GHz+ or AMD FX 8350 4.0GHz+
  • 8GB+ RAM
  • 12GB+ Hard Drive
  • DVD-ROM Req. for Disc Install
  • 2GB DX 11 Video Card
  • AMD 7970+ or NVIDIA 770+

For those who have been keeping their PCs upgraded, we’re sure you shouldn’t have any issues running Civilization 6 when it releases on October 21st.

No. And, I haven't heard that Aspyr is doing the port. Other than it's confirmed that a Mac port is coming, there hasn't been any news that I've seen. But, Aspyr has the conversion process on these games down pretty good. I wouldn't expect the release to be too far from the PC launch.
