Resident Evil 7 PC system requirements revealed
Here's what you'll need to have running under the hood in order to be able to play Resident Evil 7 on your PC.
Capcom has revealed the minimum and recommended specifications PC owners are going to need in order to play its upcoming horror game, Resident Evil 7.
The system requirements come via the official Resident Evil 7 Steam page and will require quite a bit of power in order to get it running just on its minimum settings as you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-4460 2.70GHz processor and either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x.
Here’s what you’ll need to run Resident Evil 7 at its minimum settings:
- OS: Windows 7,8,8.1,10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300 or better
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x
- DirectX: Version 11
Additional Notes: 1080P CPU/GPU at 30FPS Players will have to either lower texture or set streaming textures to OFF in order to optimize performance.
Those looking to play the game at its recommended settings will need a PC with the following specs:
- OS: Windows 7,8,8.1,10 64-BIT
- Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz or AMD or better
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 280X or better
- DirectX: Version 11
Additional Notes: 1080P CPU/GPU at 60FPS
Since it’s unveiling at E3 2016, we’ve learned quite a bit about Resident Evil 7. We’ve also seen two gameplay trailers over the past month, one of which shows three minutes of gameplay, while another one has introduced us to The Bakers.
Resident Evil 7 is currently in development and is expected to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 24, 2017.
