Blizzard has revealed its Battle.net is suffering from an ongoing DDoS attack yet again.

Battle.net has suffered from DDoS attacks before as Overwatch’s servers were hit hard just last month, and right when its Summer Games promotion was coming to an end.

Blizzard says its players should expect “high latency and disconnections” as a result of the ongoing attack, which is being targeted towards specific Internet service providers the company uses.

The company doesn’t go into specifics as to what games are currently being effected by the ongoing DDoS attack, but we experienced issues when attempting to start a Quick Match in Heroes of the Storm this afternoon and we were unable to connect to Overwatch on PC when we attempted to access it. When attempting to log into Overwatch, we received an error saying Battle.net’s servers were unable to authenticate our account.

We are also hearing reports the World of Warcraft servers are being effected by today's Battle.net downtime.

As of now, Blizzard is currently monitoring the situation and will provide updates as it works to restore access to its Battle.net services. In the meantime, you should probably steer clear of any Blizzard games for the time being until the DDoS attack ends.
