Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer digs into the villain's story
And we get to see UFC fighter Conor McGregor make an appearance, throwing a punch of all things. Go figure..
Infinty Ward and Activision have released an new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer, digging a bit deeper into the story behind the futuristic gameplay.
We had previous seen where main character Lt. Reyes gets a promotion on the Retribution after a surprise attack on SATO Forces by the Settlement Defense Front kills the captain and the first officer. Now, we get a bit more from the SDF side, with radical Admiral Salen Kotch getting some screen time. Kotch is voiced by Kit Harington, better known as Jon Snow to Game of Thrones fans,.It's kind of apropos that we see him in a wintery environment.
We also get a look at s his the likeness of UFC fighter Conor McGregor, who will be voicing Capt. Bradley Fillion. He doesn't say anything in the trailer, but you can recognize him by the punch he throws.
Some of the voice actors appeared at the San Diego ComicCon in late July to give some background on their characters and the story in general.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 4. A multiplayer beta for PS4 players will begin on October 14.
