Massive Entertainment has revealed the release of The Division's public test server has been delayed.

In a recent blog post, a Massive Entertainment community developer revealed the public test server would not be available this Thursday as the studio previously anticipated. “After playing the build with our Elite Task Force it became clear that to have the PTS process be valuable for us in terms of feedback, we would need some more time to include key elements that are critical to the overall Update 1.4 experience.”

Just how much time Massive Entertainment would need in order in include these key elements is yet to be known, although the studio wants to be as transparent with its fans as possible as being left in the dark isn’t something the studio wants to consider to be an option.

The Division has been having issues with launching new content recently, the most recent being its Underground downloadable content. Let’s just hope the release of the public test server doesn’t get too long of a delay considering how helpful the feature would be to all Agents.
