Here's when you can buy the new iPhone 7
Are you chomping at the bit to pick up Apple's latest smartphone? The Apple online store will open at 3 AM EDT for preorders.
Shackers will have to stay up extra late on the east coast to make sure they can get their hands on iPhone. The Apple Online Store is down right now, but it will open around 3 AM EDT. Grab a cup of coffee and get ready to refresh your browsers. iPhone or iPad owners might find it easier to use the Apple Store app to preorder as Apple's website is known to crash from furious amounts of F5 mashing.
What configuration are you preordering? Let us know in the comments.

"When we’re able to reach the carrier systems, we will email you.
The email will include instructions to complete your order as well as the return link.
You will have 24 hours from the time the email is sent to return to the Apple Online store to proceed with your order. If you do not complete your purchase within 24 hours, your reservation will be canceled."

It looks like my iPhone upgrade plan purchase went through, as I got a confirmation email.. however it didn't feel good because the final page in the app that approves the financing never actually completed and said something like "your order may have gone through if you got an email". I then had to back out through all of the many screens to get back to the main shopping menu to then purchase my series 2 Watch, which went through quick and easy.

Best Buy has the exact same prices as an AT&T store. We also sell AppleCare+ at the same price at $129 for two years but also have an $8 a month option. Apple Store would still be a little bit cheaper if you're doing the Apple upgrade program, since the monthly AppleCare+ cost included in the price of the phone is $5.32 a month vs $129, but other then that it's the exact same. If you weren't planning on doing the Apple upgrade program and were just getting the phone, then getting it through Best Buy or Apple would be exactly the same. And with AT&T Next, you can trade your phone in and upgrade every year anyway, but you can get any phone every year, not just the iPhone. Doesn't really matter if you plan on getting the iPhone every year anyway, but the option is there.
Basically, if you can't find it at an Apple Store, there's only a $3 difference per month getting it at Best Buy, or no difference if you weren't doing the Apple upgrade program.
If you have any questions about your account, AT&T Next, upgrading or whatever let me know. I've worked as the Apple Specialist at a Best Buy Mobile for 2 years now (going to quit soon as I have an internship and am about to graduate), so I know all the plans and how they work.

Your phrasing suggests uncertainty. Reply again when you're sure. http://www.kcra.com/image/view/-/14280922/highRes/3/-/xn7if1/-/ad-clicker-4-sure-jpg.jpg

In theory I want to agree with you. but my phone has become the computing device I use more that anything since it's always on my person. I use it while at work, I use it in my home, I use it when i'm not at home. When I'm at home or work I use better and better computing devices, but I use my phone more than both of those put together.
-
I use my work computer for probably 6+ hours/weekday, and my home computer on average 2 or 3 hours a day. I rarely use my phone as a computing device (running some kind of app/browser/whatever) for more than 20 minutes a day in total, some days I don't even use it at all. Its not even a close comparison for me.

I agree that improvements will start to level off, but there is still room to improve responsiveness and load times for apps and browsing. Even my iPhone 6 can be laggy with browsing.
Then there are things other than the CPU, like camera, display, battery, haptic feedback, etc. that still get me excited and will continue to improve. Maybe year to year it won't be huge differences, but 10 years from now I think will look leaps and bounds better than what we have now. -
Sounds like you are trying to rationalize people metering their excitement for whatever reason. What is you goal here. It is simple.
People are happy and excite about:
Much better camera, front and back
2x speaker output and in stereo
Better battery life
Better design/haptic stuff
Best CPU in mobile by a country mile just got even stronger for better performance games and you name it
Plenty of reason for people being pumped. I've seen people being pumped for FAR LESS in anything. Don't be a downer

I went through and tried to order the jet black last night. The apple store application kept erroring out. So I read a little bit about how everyone was already waiting til November to get it and I was like fuck that. So I went back and changed it to Matte black and the transaction immediately went through. So I have a receipt for that. I woke up this morning and there's a reservation for a jet black phone in my email. There's no way to cancel the reservation, except to just let it expire so that's what I am going to do. If they just let me cancel it, maybe someone else can get a spot!
Anyway I'm excited! I got a 128GB matte black 7+ phone (I usually have white so this will be different) I wanted a case but they don't show me cases and shit til after I already paid for the phone! Silly apple! Upsell BEFORE the transaction completes!
