Square Enix has something up its sleeve for the Tokyo Game Show next week, but it is playing thngs rather close to the vest right now. All we are getting is a teaser page ... in Japanese.

The page only tells us (courtesy of DualShockers) that it is a new action game and that the announcement will be part of Square Enix's stage presentation at TGS in Japan at 9 p.m. PT September 14 / midnight ET September 15. The event will be shown on YouTube at around the same time on September 17/18.

So let the speculation begin. Is this a new IP or a new game in a franchise? Square Enix just released Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, continues to pump out content for Hitman and Rise of the Tomb Raider (and a 20 Year Celebration edition for PS4), and Final Fantasy XV is out in November. All are a bit action-y with some adventure or RPG flavor added.

I guess we will know more next week.
